We provide global digital distribution and marketing services for independent artists and labels. Using a unique technology platform we cover the entire spectrum of digital services including; downloading of tracks, albums and videos (individually or as part of a subscription) and unlimited listening by subscription.

We provide a personalised and direct service to our artists and labels. Our remuneration model is simple – our fees are percentage based and linked entirely to turnover. There are no administrative fees and we won’t ask you to sign a long-term contract – you may leave our service with only 28 days notice.

Our unique sales interface system enables artists and labels to have immediate access to their sales and streaming data from around the world. You are able to see the number of downloads and/or streams of every song in every City and Country in the world, and – consequently – adjust or plan your marketing and/or touring plans accordingly.

As part of our service we will create your own personalised download store, from which you can sell bespoke downloads and bundles. The technology behind the store also gives you access to innovative interactive promotion and marketing tools which will allow you to further showcase your music.

For each album/song you’ll need to provide the Music (on CD or as wav files), the Visuals (all images you’d like included in the download package as jpegs) and Legal information corresponding to each song (the metadata).

Strata will then take care of the digitisation. We will encode each file into the correct, specific format for each online service before proceeding to export and upload online.

We then export your music to all digital retailers around the world to make it available on the planned digital release date.

We will support and advise you at every stage of your release campaign. This will include bespoke digital product development, coordination of digital distribution with physical distribution, and co-ordination of sales and marketing plans to help you build and coordinate tailored digital marketing and promotion strategies.

You will be provided with a personal login code, with which you can immediately access all your sales & streaming data from around the world. This instant access allows you to adapt your promotional and marketing plans accordingly.

You will receive detailed sales reports – time period, store, country, track name, product type, format etc. This will allow you to easily analyse your sales by artist, country, store etc and calculate the amount of royalties due. This transparent and easy to read royalty report let’s you know exactly how much we receive for your music from each digital store for each sale and how much we pay you.
